Transformative creativity and imagination through AI solutions foundational for global good

Outstanding inspiring creativity from the top 10 global winners in the annual Imagine Cup Junior AI for Good Challenge. The announcement June 9, 2022 is the culmination of thousands of students, aged 13-18, participating with creative ideas solving the world’s biggest issues leveraging transformative artificial intelligence (AI).

Rick Herrmann, vice-president worldwide public sector education, stated “At Microsoft we’re always impressed by the creativity in the solutions submitted by the future generation of students. Every student who took part brought their heart to their projects, which really came through to all of the judges.”

As a Imagine Cup judge, part of my daily pro bono contributions / insights working across more than 200,000 CEOs, investors, and scientists — the projects were awe inspiring in their imaginative creativity and centered on doing good for the planet. Moreover, the #AIforGood theme resonated as a founder for the United Nations ITU #AIforGood celebrating the 5th year of the inaugural global summit in June 2017 after which AI for Good is universally adopted across countries, corporations, UN agencies, academia, research centers, NGOs, and non-profits.
