On Saturday, June 4, 2022, between 8:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M., the Tuolumne County Solid Waste Division, the Greater Valley Conservation Corps & the Mattress Recycling Council will be hosting a mattress and tire recycling event for Tuolumne County residents. The event will be held in East Sonora at the Greater Valley Conservation Corps satellite offices located at 14993 Camage Avenue. Residents are permitted to recycle up to nine car or passenger truck tires. Tires must be off the rim. NO tractor-trailer or tractor tires, please. All mattresses and box springs must be dry, unsoiled, and free from bed bug infestation. If you have more than eight mattresses, please contact the Greater Valley Conservation Corps at (209) 588-8992. Greater Valley Conservation staff will be on hand to provide education and outreach to county residents. This event is FREE to all Tuolumne County residents
