ECO Green Equipment, USA, recently announced the company's latest tire recycling equipment installation in Saudi Arabia—the ECO Green Giant, two-shaft primary tire shredder system. This installation went to NRC (Northern Region Cement Co.). NRC’s team was looking for an efficient TDF/Tire Shred System for processing their vast whole tire landfill.

The ECO Green Giant is a primary tire shredder machine ideal for processing whole tires into rough shreds 2” – 6” inches in size. Material from this system is used for secondary rubber applications such as TDF (Tire Derived Fuel) for cement and energy facilities. The ECO Green Giant provides increased production rates for processors who demand the best efficiencies and low maintenance. The unit churns through whole car and truck tires. Operators can now enjoy increased volume production of rubber grinding plus a high proportion of output.
The ECO Green Giant is designed with an aggressive shredding technology yet operates efficiently enough to feature lower operational costs, fewer moving parts, and longer-lasting components. Easy access service doors open to reveal a cutting chamber containing two shafts with cutting knives that can be quickly rotated and replaced to reduce downtime. Each knife insert can be rotated and re-sharpened once to achieve up to 12 cutting edges.
