ISO 50001 certification for passenger car tire operation follows same achievement at plants in China and Brazil

Tokyo – Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI) tire manufacturing and sales subsidiary in Turkey, Sumitomo Rubber AKO Lastik Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, has obtained ISO certification for its energy management system, SRI announced 21 July.

The Turkish passenger car tire plant is the third factory in the SRI group to obtain ISO 50001 certification, following the previous certification of our factories in Changshu (China) and Brazil.
